ΑΥΤ ΚΑΙ ΘΕ ΤΡΑ ΠΑΡ ΥΙ ΘΕ ΝΕΡ ΥΙ ΤΡΑΙ ΑΔΡΙΑΝΟϹ ϹΕ Laureate and cuirassed bust of Hadrian to right, breastplate decorated with gorgoneion. Rev. ΤΑΡϹΕΩΝ ΜΗΤΡΟΠΟΛΕΩϹ Lion attacking bull kneeling left. Prieur 766. RPC III 3265. Very fine.

An interesting minor detail about this coin is the prominent help line running below the obverse legend. The die cutters of the Tarsus tridrachm series must have used such help lines regularly, but they were usually removed from the dies prior to the striking of the coins
